Fun fact about the groom – he sings to every song on the radio and even does the beats too. As Becky describes him, he is a one man band. Not one to be outdone, Todd tells us Becky tells horrible jokes and laughs at them by herself. He also thinks she looks cute when she runs.
Just from these little things, we can tell these two are so in love, and simply perfect for one another. It was a pleasure to be a part of their wedding day at Plimoth Plantation this June. Becky and Todd said their vows in the garden surrounded by family and friends. They stood on a rug that will be in their entry way of their new home together. The excited newlyweds exited to cheers and bubbles. We took photos in the beautiful Hornblower Garden, plus, since Becky works at the Plantation, we got to go into the village for the spectacular view of the waterfront.
Their reception was intimate in Gainsborough Hall. The fireplace and the rod-iron chandeliers were a wonderful backdrop for a traditional bread blessing and parent dances. Becky and Todd also personalized their day with details, like painted gray frames with movie love quotes and the silver birds from Becky’s grandfather’s collection. We just loved their otter cake topper! The signature drink was “Becky’s Wicked Good Sangria,” which was delicious! DJ Davren started the tunes and the dance floor was boogying the whole night through.
Wishing all the best to the new Mr. + Mrs. Simulis!
