The setting was perfect for the Ronan’s family session. It was more like a play session than a photo session because anytime I get a chance to, I encourage giggles and games. Sadie brought the giggles a-plenty, arriving in her adorable boots and singing “These boots are made for walking…”Last time I met with the Ronan’s, it was freezing and so windy I think Sadie literally got blown over. They were troopers though, and we got some cute pictures then (which you can see here). This time it was much, much warmer! We met on a beautiful June evening at Benson’s Animal Park, which despite it’s name does not have any zoo animals. I was thrilled to hear that Kate is expecting twin boys in September! She was glowing like expecting mom’s do, and you can see everyone is so happy this family will be growing bigger. We played peek-a-boo and I taught Sadie what a “pig pile” is (Sorry!). I brought some bubbles to play with after checking with Mom if it was okay to get a little sticky. I think Dad was the best bubble-blower of the family. Sadie did a quick wardrobe change, and then we finally found animals: geese. The baby goslings were so fuzzy, and they enchanted Sadie.
We continued our walk down to the lake where we threw in rocks and looked for turtles. Sadie is always so much fun to photograph. She is playful and well-behaved, a good listener, and so inquisitive! She even helped me take a few pictures, which you can see here.We finished our session at the playground, of course! I had a wonderful time photographing this beautiful family. Thanks, Ronans, for playing with me. I can’t wait to meet those two little boys in September!
