This Manchester NH wedding was so much fun! There was face painting, balloon animals, and an Elvis impersonator.
But I am getting ahead of myself. Let’s start at the beginning of the day…
Walking up to JennieAnn’s home, I could smell the hairspray outside! It was a full house of ladies getting their hair and make up done by the professionals of Hair Game; yet, it was not overwhelming at all. Everyone was happy and relaxed. JennieAnn was such a calm and collected bride. She was sewing bridesmaids dresses, entertaining the flowergirls, and watching the Bruins (who won!).
Her dress was amazing with lace and sparkle. I couldn’t stop taking pictures of it. The details were perfect from toes to tiara!
Their ceremony was at St. Pius in Manchester, NH which is right around the corner from JennieAnn and Brett’s house. The church was bright and decorated with gorgeous flowers, provided by Hoppagrass Florist. It was a beautiful service, with a pop quiz to the newlyweds: “Why are you here?” They must have answered correctly, because they are now husband and wife!
From there, we headed over to Castleton in Windham, NH for portraits and the reception. The lighting was just fantastic and we avoided the threatening rain. We took some great bride and groom pictures at the large waterfall and then some lovely portraits with family and the bridal party.
The reception is where it got really fun, kicking off with a surprise visit from Elvis. There was also a face painting service and balloon animal creator during dinner for some laughs. Spotlight Entertainment Boston provided glow sticks and a black light party as the night went on, making for some interesting pictures!
By midnight, Jason and I were exhausted but couldn’t wipe the smiles off our faces. There was so much joy and love at this wedding. What a great way to kick off our 2014 wedding season! Thanks JennieAnn and Brett, for having us photograph your big day. I wish you all the best. Congratulations!!
