Jamie and Adam tied the knot in September at the ever gorgeous Hellenic Center in Ipswich, MA. When you pull up the drive, you see the columns and beautiful house with a rolling green lawn. Adam was actually the one to decide on the venue. Their date opened up while they were touring, and he decided it was fate. Who are we to argue; it really was the perfect location for their timeless navy blue, gray, and blush wedding.
Jamie and Adam met while working as bartenders, and the rest is history. They like to spend their Saturdays running errands together and catching up with family. They especially enjoy sleepovers with their nieces, who are their adorable flower girls. Adam loves that Jamie makes him laugh. They one word they would use to describe themselves is fun, and we agree! Jamie loves that every weekend Adam gets coffee for her before she wakes up. That’s true love right there.
Their wedding day was overcast with scattered rain storms, making Jamie a bit anxious about her outdoor ceremony. However, it stayed dry for the entire evening until the reception, allowing them say “I do” beneath the oak tree with a hanging chandelier. Adam seemed nervous but once he saw Jamie walking towards him, his whole face lit up. We love that Adam’s boutonnière had a photo of his deceased dad, who he got to keep close to his heart thanks to Jamie’s thoughtful gift. They filled their reception with many personalized details such as the “Find Your Face, Find Your Place” seating chart Jamie DIY-ed with photos of all their guests. Adam’s last name, Miele, means honey in Italian – so it was fitting that they had jars of honey as wedding favors! They included other classics like Jamie’s “something blue” wedding shoes and marquis letters decorating the fireplaces.
It was such a beautiful day full of laughter and love. We wish all the best to the newlyweds. Congrats, Mr. + Mrs. Miele!!
