Steph and Dave had the most gorgeous sunny wedding day in August. However, this down-to-earth couple had some last minute stress, as their venue was suddenly unable to host their reception. The Stone House Inn was still the perfect place to get ready though, and the couple decided to have two ceremonies – an intimate one with only close family and then one that included all their guests. The Acoaxet Country Club down the road stepped in and Steph and Dave got to have a second, beautiful ceremony overlooking the golf course with ocean views. It’s definitely fortuitous to get to say “I do” twice in one day!
Steph followed the “somethings” tradition: borrowed pearls, wore a blue sapphire ring from Dave, carried her great-grandmother’s scarf, and had a stunning new dress. I loved the lace backless detail! The teal, gray, and white color scheme was bright and airy, and went perfectly with the hydrangeas that decorated the cake and tables. Dave loves Steph’s rare ability to enjoy life and relish the moment. Steph loves Dave’s dance moves, which we got to see first hand as they danced the night away!
We were so honored to be a part of this pretty wedding day. Cheers to Mr. + Mrs. Oikarinen!!
